The area of study of Biomedical Science in Sri Lanka is growing exponentially. KIU of Sri Lanka was the first in Sri Lanka to introduced this biomedical science degree program which was duly approved by the Ministry of Higher education and University Grants Commission (UGC). This course is conducted at an affordable fee providing with an opportunity to pay flexibly. This gives away to greater opportunities for local and international students to follow this biomedical science course.
This biomedical science honors degree course includes modules in pre-medical science, molecular and genetic studies, pharmacology, and modules that are dedicated to laboratory managerial skills. These modules are in level par with the world’s top nine universities which conduct degree programs in Biomedical Science.
KIU with a dedicated and efficient academic staff ensures the graduates of the Biomedical Science Degree program has a greater demand for jobs in this field. The practical skills of these graduates are of a higher standard as they are encouraged to go for industrial training during their study period.
