Following the success with the number of degrees, KIU is now in the process of implementing an advanced certificate course for Laboratory assistants. This course is expected to offer an in-depth knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and equipment to equip highly analytical professionals. This advanced certificate course for Laboratory assistants (NVQ Level 03) will be a six-month program designed to include administrative and clerical aspects which help to build a professional laboratory assistant, and this course is certified and approved by the Tertiary & Vocational Educational Commission (TVEC).
Admission requirements are, completing 12 years of schooling, and passing GCE O/L / International Ordinary levels with a minimum of a “C” pass for science and a minimum of an “S” pass for English in ordinary levels. The course will be conducted in English medium and successful completion of the course and passing all subjects will be awarded a certificate for Passing the course.
Course fee – Rs 30,000.00 (including a 5,000.00 registration fee).
