WHY SHOULD YOU SELECT KIU TO PURSUE A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE HONOURS IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE:

BSc in Artificial Intelligence aims on teaching students to develop a broad, coherent knowledge of the discipline of AI, including machine learning, data science with detailed knowledge of key AI algorithms. The curriculum also pays significant attention to computer science fundamentals, software engineering, and business components.

Students who follow this degree programme will learn how to apply technical skills and knowledge to develop solutions in planning, designing, managing, evaluating, and executing AI projects and implement AI related solutions. The development of problem-solving abilities and skills in students are key components of this degree programme. Students will address problems utilizing AI and apply concepts learned in their course modules by engaging in projects.

AI offers an exciting future for students as more industries invest in improving what they do through learned behavior and operating efficiencies. Graduates will have the specialist knowledge and be equipped to work on the design, development, and operation of software solutions involving AI, across a broad range of industry sectors.

Graduates with BScHons (AI) will have a variety of career opportunities, both nationally and internationally upon completion of the degree. Possible career opportunities are AI Technology Engineer, AI Architect, Data Scientist, and Data Analyst. The depth and breadth of knowledge in this area of study are increasingly attractive to employers and would lead to careers not only as AI professionals but also in wider areas of the IT industry.
