Human resource degree is a value added, contemporary discipline in management which advocates the management to develop employees while accomplishing organizational goals. In addition, human resource management involves overseeing HR functions, managing an organization’s human capital and shaping employees. This curriculum in human resources degree program has been designed in accordance with Sri Lankan and global university standards. Our degree program is conducted in English medium and covers 120 credits of academic exposure.

The Faculty of Management, KIU consists of three academic departments that offer unique undergraduate degree programmes in Marketing Management, Human Resources Management and Accounting disciplines. The degree programmes have been designed in the aim of producing academically and professionally competent personnel to take up managerial positions in organizations, create an entrepreneurial culture, and broaden the horizon of knowledge pertaining to the discipline of Commerce & Management.
