Bachelor of Science Honours in psychology degree programme offered by KIU is designed to provide our students with a thorough knowledge on the basics of psychology as well as in intricate areas. A KIU psychology graduate can join different ventures to start their careers and in Sri Lanka our graduates can work in settings such as: academic settings as a lecturer, a career guidance counsellor, a special education teacher, and as an educational psychologist; industrial settings as HR personnel, industrial psychologists, organizational psychologists, and administrators; hospital settings as counsellors; and other numerous settings as NGO and Law enforcement and corrections.

Available post graduate qualification after the degree…

A KIU psychology graduate can apply for postgraduate programs that are available in Sri Lanka and in the international arena. In Sri Lanka a KIU Psychology graduate can apply for MPhil in clinical psychology program or can enroll in other master’s degree programs offered. Also, they are able to enroll in psychology degree programs offered in prestigious universities globally.
